Meet THE BAND

MOJOFATS

Gary Patton

A Native Oklahoman, Gary's earliest musical influences were Roy Orbison, Elvis, The Kingston Trio and most notably, The Beatles.

He began playing rhythm guitar, then switching to bass guitar during the Mid-60's British Invasion...the days when top 40's am radio ruled the air waves.

Those early cover bands required proficiency in styles from Motown and soul, to rock, pop, country, and easy listening.

Gary played professionally for over 10 years before giving up the road as a full time vocation. But in 1997, Gary's passion to perform was re-kindled......

Gary's influences are:  Paul McCartney, Tim Bogert, Jack Bruce , Roscoe Beck, Allen-Woody, Otiel Burbridge,  Kenny Gradney, and Chris Squire!

Kenny Hoffman

At a young age, Ken was enthralled with rhythm... clicking and ticking on everything until given a pair of drumsticks. After that, pure mayhem!

Starting in grade school, Ken advanced to regional school and city orchestras.

After a move to the Midwest, Ken became inspired to immerse himself into all forms of music, some piano, vocals, rhythm guitar, bass guitar and Concert tuba.

Ending time on the road , Ken let go to pursue family life. And, after 25 years, he decided to re-kindle his love for music.

Ever since, Ken has played and toured with area  bands, and nearly two decades with the Rick Lewis Project.

Ricks' band opened up for The Allman Brothers Band, Brett Micheals, Cheap Trick, Ziggy Marley, and Little Feat , just to name a few!

His influences include Ringo, Charlie Watts, Levon Helm, Nick Mason , and the legendary Ritchie Hayward.

James D. Hash

JD is an icon in the Colorado music scene . Since the late 70's, he has performed thru out the western region. His fiery lead guitar and vocals propelled The Red Rock Roosters into a state-wide favorite for years.

!n the late 90's, JD, and Kenny both signed on with "Rachel Jane and the Hurricane," a blues powerhouse that the Denver area still talks about to this day.

In finding a gifted bassist in Gary Patton, the team  anchored "MOJOFATS"... a funky,  blues-y mix of Allman Brothers, Albert Lee and Thin Lizzy, to name a few.

J.d's powerful vocals can still be heard in this newest project,  MOJOFATS!

PAUL TRUNKO

A St. Louis native, Paul Trunko started his rock and roll career early, eventually moving to the Rocky Mountain region. Here he found his musical brothers and sisters playing the roots music he loved! This music has been the heart and soul of his musical projects ever since...

Paul is well-known for his tenure at the famed Swallow Hill Music, while playing in many groups regionally!

The Keepers, Papa Juke , Clay Kirkland and notably known “Shakedown Street ”are a few that have shared the stage...

Pauls' influences are Leslie West, Jerry Garcia, Marc Knophler, Billy Gibbons, and iconic writers John Prine and JJ Cale.
